Al-Munawwir is traditionally boarding school from Yogyakarta is generally name Pesantren Krapyak. It founded November 15, 1910 by K.H Mohammad Munawwir bin Abdul Rosyad bin Hasan Bashori. He has islamic spiritual intelligence, especially in the Qur'an. The Pesantren Krapyak was introduce new methods in the field knowledge of Qur'anic that are popular to date is Tallaqi (slowly read to spelling sentence by pure 'makhrojul khuruf') as unique to concern as perfect reading.
Al-Munawwir was known with the quranic tahfid of ''Sanat Qur'an in Indonesia'' for it is long historical. Today, it is also renowned as “Pondok Apalan Qur'an“, a byname that legends it is special values.
